Stuff I’ve Made
Web Design
Iowa Democratic Party
When I arrived at the Iowa Democratic Party in June of 2009 their website was a mess. Apologies to Joomla fans, but I just could not work it. I hastily rebuilt the website using WordPress and tweaked the theme from there.
Jenn and Beer
My amazing friend Jenn lives in Denver. She wanted to make her beer blog her life and I helped her move it from blogspot to a self-hosted WordPress site. I modified the Bueno theme and set her on her merry way.
Farewell Party Records
Kyle Chapman runs Farewell Party Records, an indie record label that specializes in vinyl and unique packaging. I took it from a Google site and designed it into a site as unique as the products.

Charles Meets Barack
When I met Charles at the Boulder, CO field office he was 86 years old. He started volunteering after his wife passed away. He won a volunteer raffle to meet Barack Obama before his 110,000 person rally in Denver just days before the election. After interviewing him and filming the rally, this touching video went viral and was featured on The Huffington Post among others.
Barack Visits Grand Junction
On September 15, 2008 Barack Obama became the first Democratic Presidential nominee to visit Grand Junction since Harry Truman. The overwhelming demand for tickets forced the campaign to scramble for a larger venue. What they found was a photographer’s dream.
